#StandingStoneSunday The Long Stone near Minchinhampton. At over 7ft high and full of holes and depressions this a fascinating site. Many gifts and offerings are left on it - see photographs below - and I have a request for help with a research project.

Prog Magazine Readers Poll 2024 results, published in Febr 2025. Best Band category features the excellent Solstice at no 1. EBB come in at 10, followed by 9. Marillion 8. David Gilmour 7. Jon Anderson 6. Focus 5. Dream Theater 4. Opeth 3. Frost 2. Big Big Train Suffice to say we 'holy shit'ted our way through this list of stellar artists. Blown away to be part of it.

If anyone wonders whether people care about at accessibility at conferences, I'll point out that my post on accessibility at the conference immediately has more responses than conference post itself. Make your stance loud and clear. Also... actually make your conference accessible.

This! And adding: Don’t forget about local action. It’s much easier to see the results of your work on a local/community scale vs. a national scale. Doesn’t mean national action isn’t important, but if you’re feeling dismayed because “nothing makes a difference,” that’s much less true locally.
