Listened to some old chilli peppers songs. Fucking hell, but some of them are *total* shit. Don't know how I couldn't tell this as a teen. If there's one thing to say for Anthony Kiedis, it's that his lyrics have at least improved as he's gotten older
It has made me want to cry that the celeb traitor winners have donated to refugee charities, on the BBC, to thousands of viewers. Both @chooselove and @refugeecouncil.bsky.social do fantastic work and I’m proud to be colleagues with them. The far-right are outnumbered and we must hold on to it.

She looked at us wistfully and, with a smile, said "she has no idea how lucky she is". There a little moments of life that strike like poetry. Having kids definitely ups the number of them.

This might not sound too impressive to several million people who do this every week, but I finally made an entire roast dinner all by myself! Roast potatoes, carrots, peas, pigs in blankets, and a chicken. Nothing under or over done. Plus a creamy tarragon/lemony/dijon creamy gravy.
I've never been a "revoke the license fee" kinda guy, but this is pushing me to it

Watched a good video last night about the appeal of unreality films like Backrooms. Said our reality feels unreal; our society cosplays as a freedom-loving democracy; talks the talk while acting as anything but. Companies cosplay as caring about customers etc etc. An unsettling concept
