Haters are humans without the empathy gene. Highly refined bullshit sniffer for Nazi trolls.

Todd Blanche’s written assurance that the $1.8 billion slush fund won’t go forward is garbage. It won’t go forward today. What about tomorrow once Blanche is confirmed as AG? Tillis and Cornyn, agreeing to advance Blanche, are pathetic.

WATCH — Abby Phillip to Tim Parrish: “Trump’s sons are doing business deals that have a direct relationship with the 🇺🇸 government… the double standard is YOUR problem. If you had a problem with Hunter Biden, you should have 10x the problem with the Trumps.”

This is ridiculously scary. Yes, we are currently talking about ballrooms and reflecting pools and inflation and Iran and Venezuela and Epstein and crypto grift and the moral rot of the GOP. But all that is going to be forgotten soon. Shit is about to get real, as they say.

I'm not sure folks have realized just how crazy the second half of 2026 and 2027 will be for global temperatures – on the back of a record-smashing El Niño event. Here is my latest estimate of where both years will end up compared to global temperatures since 1850.

UPDATE: FEMA has approved support for the Rowe Creek Fire Complex West. I’m glad to see federal help on the way for firefighters who are working around the clock to protect Oregonians. I’ll continue to fight for the federal resources we need for the rest of the fires raging in Oregon.

Senator Jeff Merkley@merkley.senate.gov · last wk.

The current wildfire situation in Oregon is the worst in the nation—but FEMA denied federal resources for the East Evans Creek Fire and the Rowe Creek Fire Complex. Oregonians deserve answers—and @wyden.senate.gov and I are pressing to get them.

“Judges simply don’t believe the representations that are being made by United States attorneys, assistant United States attorneys and the like,” a former federal judge said. “I don’t think ... in the history of jurisprudence in the United States, we’ve ever seen anything close to this.”

Federal Judges Chastise Trump’s Justice Department for “Unlawful,” “Unethical” and “Unseemly” Conduct

ProPublica reviewed hundreds of cases in which judges criticized the actions of federal prosecutors. In many, judges expressed frustration that they can no longer take the government at its word.
