Villains like the Joker and Rupert Thorne struggle to come to terms with Batman's apparent death at the hands of a no-name hoodlum. It's a well-produced episode and the Joker's angry, vain eulogy for Batman is an all-time moment for the character.

I can see why Castle of Nations had a fandom. Karl alone is a proto-Tumblr sexyman: charismatic jackass, sardonic, skinny white dude (or resin statue, whatever), unflappable - he fits all the calling cards. ...I would have been ALL over him if I had involved myself in the OCT back in 2009.

I regret not participating in the DeviantART OCT tournament back then.

If artists prices seem high to you, remember that you're hiring a seasoned craftsman to create something unique. Even if it's one of a print run, it's still not mass produced and destined for a landfill in 10 years. Moreover, you're paying for their skill and the years they took to attain it.
If artists prices seem high to you, remember that freelancers have to pay for their own healthcare and stuff and we are working on a project basis, so we have no real job security (if that is even much of a thing anymore anyway)
