Hey yall, ai scam emails are getting clever. there are scams now where they pretend to be a publisher interested in you/your book, and because ai can read your book and draft an email, it feels legit. But it’s just a grift. Stay vigilant! I got one about my old Japan book and my red flag went up.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

I played the game 10+ years ago when I was a depressed teenager discovering sapphic love was an option. It had a huge impact on me. and the ending damn. I chose to save Chloe and was a bit disappointed that the game makes it as if it is the "wrong" ending compared to the other one (the one where everyone is suddenly happier and healing, so that to somehow comfort us/Max "this was the right sacrifice to make !!" ). I mean sure it is the lesser loss in terms of lives saved, but it totally eclipses the emotional attachment to your absolute best friend / lover and the responsibility of actively chosing sb's death, exactly as in the trolley problem like you mentionned ! I love to see an 'After the Storm', see how they both live with that guilt but also that love 🥺 it's wonderful, thank you so much for that !!! (Sorry for rambling, I just feel so happy to see a possible healing future for my first wlw story girls 🥰)"

Been a year. Time to repost this.

YOUR PORTFOLIO CRIT
THINGS I'D TELL YOU IF I WERE LOOKING AT YOUR WORK IN PERSON
1 Violating the 180 degree rule makes this sequence hard to follow
2 A few more incidental overlaps will make this foreshortening clearer
3 Symmetrical compositions with a character dead center imply an important moment. Don't draw every panel like that?
4 This __ looks kind of fake. Take the time to look at reference instead of just making it up
5 An establishing shot will help the reader understand where this takes place.
6 Find a life-drawing session to attend, or practice from photos online.
7 Show these pages to someone who doesn't know the story and ask them to tell the story back to you.
8. Nudge this part over a bit to eliminate that tangency.
9 You flattened out the depth by rendering the foreground, middle ground, & background with the same values. Create depth and direct the eye by organizing them into overlapping planes of light & dark.
10 there are better ways to use your time than rendering every brick.
11 these characters look like they're floating (or falling). Draw figures and bg from the same eye level.
12 Unless this will be a wordless comic, leave more room for the lettering
