Now it's time for the EU to choose the EU because fucking hell, EU - when will you understand Trump isn't a master strategist, just an idiot bully with a stick he can only use as long as everyone independently keeps giving in.

A rejection of international law is a rejection of human rights that puts our collective safety, humanity, dignity and sovereignty at risk. Congress must intervene, reclaim Congress' war powers, and impeach Trump.

We, Latine elected officials representing Chicago’s Northwest Side and surrounding suburbs, condemn Trump's military intervention in Venezuela.

The Trump administration can keep seeking to do what it’s doing, from funding kidnappers to trying to rip our healthcare away. But, Chicago is going to keep doing what it does at its finest, which is to organize, to resist, and to come together.

Our solidarity, resistance, and mutual care and concern for one another is making an impact. Let's keep fighting and showing up for one another!

Most of the power authoritarians have is freely given. We should not comply with them in advance. Trump is far weaker than he looks. So is the GOP. We should draw them out, drain them at every opportunity, and fight for people’s wellbeing at every turn. We have been sent here to fight for people.
