Does anyone know of a general tool that alerts you when (if) a preprint is published in peer-reviewed form?

We got a new paper out! The Late Miocene Mediterranean had some stark gradients from east to west. But did they have any effect on the biology? The ecology? Reefs? We show it did! 🧪⚒️ Link: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0031018226004864

That heatwave felt like we've been inside a volcano, and we've got the perfect new book for your child to learn all about them. 🌋 @nosycrow.bsky.social and @cam.ac.uk have created another gorgeous illustrated science book, 'The Power of Volcanoes'. 📖
Publish your science in journals that publish science reported by humans, evaluated by humans, to be read by humans — which apparently do not include Springer Nature journals
Springer Nature retracted two studies by Max Planck. In response to a question from @samkean.bsky.social, they issued this statement: "Detailed information about specific retractions is usually confidential and can only be shared with the relevant authors.”
I did this a few years ago - would definitely recommend it for graduate students and postdocs who haven't had formal training on this before. Peer review is the kind of really important skill that is too often left to hoping people pick up good practice as they go along.

"Frontiers in" doing "Frontiers in" things. They were always going to keep those pesky editors away from the actual academic work. If anyone needed another reason not to publish there, this is it. 🧪🏺
I’ve officially resigned as Associate Editor for Frontiers in Systems Neuroscience. It used to be a reputable journal, but became a case study in how forced automation destroys academic integrity. 👇
