Also, there was an extremely impatient reporter - apparently KIRO 7's Heather Bosch - who interrupted Mayor Wilson right as she was about to start sharing details to demand that she start sharing details, which ironically caused a further tiny delay in sharing details. Totally unnecessary.

Also, just because a single PIO says the delay is "waiting for dignitaries" doesn't make it so. That PIO may not know if details are ready to be confirmed publicly. In this particular case the mainstream Seattle media is absolutely using Twitter as their assignment editor, which is not cool.
