Some time in 2010 I bought Demons Souls for the PS3. Got to the tower knight and gave up. Somewhere in-between I finished Elden Ring and had 300+ hours of the best gaming experience I have had in years, so I wanted to add the remake of demons to my collection. I'm actually making progress!

According to Toru Iwatani, programmer Shigeo Funaki was against implementing intermissions into Pac-Man. He didn't like the idea of programming things unrelated to gameplay. Iwatani talked him into it, explaining they would impact sales and act as both a player's break and goal.
