I know I shouldn't expect mainstream media to cover the number of Black people dying from being hung from trees, but that doesn't mean I'm not gonna stop being mad about it. People are killing us. And no one cares enough to make this news.
Imma nip this in the bud right now. Attributing to a serial killer what can be attributed to a documented history of anti-Black violence gives white people an excuse to not confront the racism that is baked into the foundations of this country.
