Hey this actually really really sucks and I'm livid? I need literally any body of government anywhere to say "uh hey you literally cannot damage THE MOON that everyone needs?" The man deserves to be in court for dozens of reasons, but this is also on the list now.

This is going to be a slow burn story that gets people more and more angry the more they hear about it. Some asshole billionaires are blowing holes in the Moon, a thing everyone loves.

Unnaturally making craters should be illegal, and I want to everyone at SpaceX including Musk to be held responsible. I don't care if this was a test gone wrong, they assaulted the closest celestial body to us.

In Mario Kart: Double Dash, shadows in the environment do not follow any kind of lighting logic and appear to have been placed solely based on "vibe". This results in shadows being cast in nearly every possible direction at the same time.

A picture of Dry Dry Desert from Mario Kart: Double Dash with shadows marked. The shadows go in a variety of different directions at different points in the map despite there being only one light source.

If we can't opt out of this, this effectively puts an end to my hobby because I absolutely refuse to give a constant stream of voices, vocal clips, audio, to AI systems that'll use it without my consent I signed the petition demanding default opt-out but frankly, I just don't want this shit at all.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

feels sometimes like the past 3 years have been an especially concentrated barrage of milkshake duck and "can't have shit in detroit" moments every other day with no end in sight. i'm so tired. everyone needs to start developing some goddamn scruples right now or i'm gonna start biting people
