Absolutely! Preparing meals is a way that Jane can have worth and meaning and show how she can express her love for her husband. What happens to food during the story is important too. (It's a big metaphor!)

Finished TALKING CLASSICS by Mary Beard. I've read only snippets of her before. She made me see the study of Ancient Greek/ Latin and classics in fresh relevant ways. Not to find ourselves in the classics, but to better discuss issues of the day through a distant history. Eye opening and short read.
Pretty damn happy that someone in FF14 recognized my Sister Friede glamour. Day made.
The Odyssey wanted me to walk away with an awareness of how the hubris of man cannot thwart the gods. I'm afraid what I'm walking away with is a healthy appreciation of Robert Pattinson's Antinous. Holy shit do I want that slimeball suitor to do things to me.
I appreciate a good live performance, but I still don't like Taming of the Shrew (or really, any of Shakespeare's comedies.)
I can't recommend more swimming in the pool of a waterfall. Spirit Lifted.
