Baseball, music, books, cats, plants, existential dread. But mostly baseball. (Gardening in zone 6B)
Reds tv showing the clip of Glenn Braggs breaking his bat in the ‘90 WS is my excuse to let you all know that Glenn Braggs is even more jacked now.
It’s not all pretty. Completely cleaning out a full bed of irises after discovering an iris borer infestation. 🌱

I hate this time of year so much. I know it’s “just baseball” but as a baseball fan it is hard to see fan favorites and players who represent your team with heart and soul get traded.
A reminder of the toll the trade deadline can take on players: catcher Tyler Stephenson, the Reds' 2015 first-round pick whose name has come up in the rumor mill, gets emotional after what could be his final game in Cincinnati. Even reporter Jim Day appears to get caught up in the moment.
also you’re never going to be able to appease these chud losers no matter what you do, you’d think by now everyone would have learned this lesson
the wnba alienating their core audience for the sake of people who wouldn’t watch a wnba game to save their child’s life is a bold gambit, to be sure
Breaking a child's collarbone is only a family matter if you don't believe that the government plays a role in protecting children. Oh, never mind, this is Gym Jordan.
