I’m going to weigh in the “pay your dues” discussion in the dumbest way. I know of a guy who came from money and took it too literally and actually paid someone to do set up/tear down on his behest so he still technically helped out.

Dude's been TV ready for a long time. He's got everything down. His physique is bananas. He can go in the ring. He can cut a promo. He has a unique gimmick/aesthetic. Apart from the card thing, he also has the quads as a fun little sub-gimmick that's starting to take on a life of its own. Push him.

Worth stressing: 1. You NEVER hear about F1RST/Arik Cannon getting mired in bullshit indie drama. 2. All anyone did was ask Avery to help with chairs. I'm not a worker or anything close, but if I was hanging out after a show and someone asked nicely, I'd happily help with chairs.

I really hope the next person who invites AJ Styles for dinner asks him to help with the dishes at the end. You’d have to do it. Just to see what happens.
