Both apps are having issues this weekend. First it was Bluesky and now it is Mastodon. 503 errors on Mastodon are common though. Advantage for activitypub apps is that one outage does not interfere with other apps. Photo community pxlmo is still up #mastodon #activitypub #bluesky #atproto #bsky

Mike Fragassi@refrag.bsky.social · 2y agoThe host I wound up on, was never good about updating for new features. This is understandable, but also really annoying. Also: discoverability was a true pain point, and search didn't work unless you used a hash tags. All deal breakers to me. I don't know if any of that has improved.
