This stuff is so interesting when we talk about politics in warhammer because like, its true that warhammer draws on a diverse range of influences, some quite radical, but like, Dark Angels aren't called Dark Angels because of Section 28, are they? I see your point, but thats just not true is it?

I think its interesting to think of the "love/hate" relationship specifically....Maybe the first inkling of being into them but disliking them was when the price of WD went up from £1.50 to, I think, 1.95. Or when I realised that, unlike 3rd edition WFB, 4th edition WFB gave you no magic rules.

Hobby question for everyone, When and what started your love hate relationship with Games Workshop? I ask this as I feel I was quite young. 1984/85 Warhammer first edition and Bloodbath at Orcs Drift from 2nd edition.... I was 4 they may have been some of the first things I read on my own

This made me think about how, as a kid, youre always like "i dont have enough scenery, this battle is happening around a cardboard building and some spray painted polystyrene on planet bowling ball" and then as an adult you buy so much the board can effectively become impassable.

My disappointment about the Uprising Robinhood is that has a few lines. The first is it isn't giving American audiences credit. How are they supposed to judge whether or not the want a Peasants Uprising film if you never offer them one?
