I’m Sacramento born and raised, and it’s been an honor to serve my community. I don’t know what’s next, but I know I’ll be ok.

The effort to rehab Hunter Biden's reputation is embarrassing- he repeatedly used his position as the son of a VP - and then president - to enrich himself. Every part of his life is a disaster... personal, professional and ethical failures at every step. Just... no.

I do wonder at what point the tech giants' acquiescence to Trump may have an unforeseen backlash: calls from Dems to break them up as monopolies with too much power? Google/Alphabet is certainly a ripe target there, and they may regret alienating Democrats over stupid shit like this

Faine Greenwood@faineg.bsky.social · 2w agoI’ve been in aid, am currently unemployed because the sector has essentially collapsed, and know a ton of people who are still clinging on in aid - I really cannot express in words the scale of the human suffering that Musk destroying USAID has unleashed. So yes, I have some strong opinions on that.
UPDATE: Balcony solar legislation approved overwhelmingly by the California Assembly. I'm told it will go back to the Senate (where it's already passed unanimously) for a final clearance tomorrow.

Polls have closed in California. Early vote totals are starting to trickle in. With just 1.1 million votes counted, Republican Steve Hilton has 29.8% of the vote and Democrat Xavier Becerra has 24.8%. Democrat Tom Steyer is trailing in third with 17.3%.
i mean, criticize Matsui all you want, but this is literally the playbook for a primary: the leader elevates the weakest opponent for the general. Vang's team would be doing the same thing if Matsui was polling neck and neck with a 'no-name' GOP candidate
