Accidental runner, general good egg. Northern.

Fire tower and the conditions the runners are dealing with. Freezing fog and the bone chilling cold these conditions create. The high moisture content and cold conditions wick away and pretence of warmth from even the best gear #bm100

The 2026 Barkley Marathons began with one of the strongest fields ever. The starting field came from 15 Counties as well as 15 States, and included ten women. The course seemed not to care. Over 70% of the field is done. #BM100

Here we go again. Bluesky deciding what users want to see and filtering "liberal" content. Is there really no chance of a nice social network not run by wankers??

Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default. Here's how to turn it off. First go to the hamburger menu in the upper left corner

The hallowed "good" race photo, that most elusive of beasts. Eric has some skill with the camera, made me look like I was an actual runner! Lovely and weird to briefly be the poster boy for a winter ultra. Highly recommend the Goat if you're up for a challenge. #running #ultrarunning

Really wish more people in the UK would realise this. Alas, the structure of our energy market means we are forced to pay the highest daily strike price. Market reform is urgently needed, and very much achievable for the government. Contact your MP and demand change!

Germany gets 60% of its power from renewables and is shutting down its coal plants. No blackouts. No high bills. Every right wing lie about renewables has been proven false.

Last night Anna Troup won the ladies race of Race Across Scotland, finishing 4th overall. This after outright winning the summer Spine Race in June. After nearly 3 years out with injury. Oh, and she's 55 for anyone thinking age makes the slightest difference in ultra events. Inspirational!
