It's mostly just needlessly dramatic straight men diving on the grass, pretending to get injured constantly so they can get a free kick or a penalty all the time? Literally non-stop begging for the referee to do stuff so they can rig the game to potentially win it? Where's the actual sport in that?

Kinda crazy how I've just had a Labour canvasser knock on my door & when I told him I wasn't voting Labour & rebuffed his reference to opposition parties' apparent lack of integrity, the only response he could conjure was "I know. We don't like Keir Starmer either. Think locally, not wider Labour"

I've tried to be diplomatic but have some fucking shame? If you're so much of an unpleasant individual that someone wants nothing to do with you, respect that by leaving them alone? Injecting yourself in to their friend group & forcing them to tolerate it through obligation is really sodding weird.

Personally, if I'd made someone so fucking uncomfortable that they'd blocked me on all forms of social media after a bad interaction I was responsible for, I wouldn't then try to break in to that same person's friend group & attend every social occasion they ever sought to attend but that's just me.
