when someone is mad at you on the computer they make up stuff about your identity to justify their behavior (youre straight, youre rich, you live in new york) because they're not mad enough to identify your actual crimes (i have killed before and i will kill again)

LLMs and a trap, and if you step into them as your first step in computering, they are highly likely to be your last step as well. you're doomed to ignorance. the LLM is magic and you're never going to be a wizard, you're just subject to the whims of wizards

the upside to moving and upending your entire life is that it really gives you the mental freedom to continue making changes because there's not the old baseline to fall back to as easily. i keep asking myself "aspirationally, how do i want to live my life?" and just Doing it instead of shying away.

Is there an accepted best resource to gain a practical understanding of electricity? What is an amp, a volt, a watt, why do plugs need earth, what is earth leakage, what’s an RCD, what is AC and DC, how to safely experiment with this stuff and see its effects with my own eyes?
