I just realized this burnout/depressive state is partially due to a loss of people around me I can be near to recharge, as well as the lack of clarity of the end goal when it comes to getting my house finished and moving. Fuck.

The good news: My storage unit is finally empty and the basement is prepped for water proofing later this week! The bad news: the couch that was in my storage unit is too big to fit in my awkwardly shaped 140 year old house, so I need a new one.

I will add pressure to this by saying that any company that claims to not hold onto your personal data after verifying you? They're lying. Ive been nitro free since the first time they tried this, voice how you feel with your wallet people. Make them really feel that squeeze.

So, while my car is back in the shop getting some followup repairs that weren't evident during the initial repair, the shop has loaned me an EV. Now, I'm all for EVs, I think they're neat. This is a pretty cool opportunity to try one out without the massive cost of rental or purchase. That being -
