Find me at omisspearl.com Author, blogger, dominant and occasionally community (dis)organizer. I talk about lifestyle femdom and stuff. Often I tilt at windmills. No, I will not be your dominant. (she/they) 18+ posts may occur.

Interval training. A 30 minute flat run is relatively comfortable, so now I am trying to push things up via 2 minute intervals of the fastest I can safely run. Which appears to be 9.7 km/h. Eventually I want that to be a 30 minute flat 5K.

A morning run showing intervals of high heart rate and lower heart rate via a graph.

I ended up in a "women with opinions in sex work and porn" starter pack and I am in the awkward position of my personal beliefs about the erotic labour of writing versus the way most people define those terms. And also annoyed I was almost certainly filed there because domme.

"If It Makes You Happy" by Julie Olivia Not all tips pan out. This one didn't, and speaks to the mainstream lack of understanding of what femdom is, that someone thought a mildly surly female lead was enough. #2026FemdomReviewProject www.omisspearl.com/nonfiction/i...

“If It Makes You Happy”  by Julie Olivia [Femdom Book Review]

Nope, no femdom. Not all recommendations pan out. An all pumpkin, no spice seasonal rom com, with 0 women in charge.

Every month or so some guy trots in trying to market his AI Domme that he is building. He always A) cites it as a cure for the shortage in distribution B) is flabbergasted that women somehow find being treated as a thing to be distributed is insulting and repulsive.

One of the problems with there being so few femdom books is that it's normal for not every book to work for you, but when it's such a small pool you get stuck with being reminded about books you don't like.

Emmaline is hard at work giving the floor a go over. I am toasting a croissant, having tackled a bunch of ironing. That's not the most essential chore, but I did the strings of two aprons, which makes them easier to wear.

It needs must be remarked that there is an incredibly fascinating and very common flavour of sub who obsesses over dominant women as an *idea* but sincerely tends to think of us like some sort of imaginary fairy. Real dominant women, to them, get treated extremely poorly.

Knocked out an hour's workout, 30 minutes of running on the treadmill (6.4 km/h) and 30 minutes of weights. Found the toggle on the weights app to turn off the "experimental beta AI summary!" which is a superfluous but of babble about your previous workout that adds nothing.

Trying to figure out who I should and should not bother to "tell me if you have any Femdom books please". Authors with tables selling books? Sure! Bookstores? Of course. But like, big book promo accounts? Publishers?

Phew. Pot roast is in the instant pot. There's chopped veggies for making tomorrow's chicken soup (from scratch), a pasta salad for tomorrow's lunch, and I have done 5 batches of the 6 loads of laundry that need doing. I also have folded most of it. This was surprisingly time consuming.

Cookie dough usually freezes beautifully, which solves the problem of a small household not eating baked goods fast enough to avoid going stale (or eating all at once. Portion, freeze and then bag up to bake 2 or 3 at a time for warm cookies on demand. #hausdomme

Fresh cookie dough ready to freeze on wax paper.

When I was younger I had the good fortune to get a Political Science degree at a fancy university. As well as the forlorn hope of switching Canada to proportional representation and the accompanied uncritical Swedish fanboy chatter, there were various more useful core ideas.

Reddit periodically advertises to me for a kink-in-a-box roleplaying props and script kit, and I can help thinking it is an awful tragedy they exclusively confine themselves to marketing as femsub. The really lean heavily into sexual health thing in their marketing.

[New Blog Post!] "Daughter of the Dark Sun" by D. Kathleen McAteer A confronting, rather than self indulgent read, McAteer's debut novel takes more risks with a villain coded character than the trad space would permit. www.omisspearl.com/nonfiction/d...

“Daughter of the Dark Sun” by D. Kathleen McAteer [Femdom Book Review]

A messy "shadow mommy" dark fantasy story. As a part of the self/publishing indie space it can take narrative risks trad publishing can't.

Quote posting to add: There is a tendency for subs to insist that everything needs to start with a dominant "making" or "forcing" them to feel submissive and therefore inspired to participate. This sort of request almost always comes from people with no idea how this would be accomplished.

Submission is voluntary, so stop stupidly telling women to force you. ‘Force’ might be your kink, but the ONE THING that should never be forced is consent. Once you have happily and voluntarily given your consent - she can force everything else going forward, but not THAT. #bdsm #kink #fetish
