This sucks, but it is worth remembering DA fully embraced genAI and brought with it so many users who have been proven to have extremely low media literacy thanks to AI use, and thus DA has become a honeypot for these kind of VERY low effort scams!

They still do, at least Nintendo of America does. If you watch a UK Nintendo Direct you'll see that they just say "game" instead of "the [game] game" like in the US. Which means that they make the narrator record two versions of the same line every time he mentions the name of a Nintendo game.

In a videogame roleplay server I'm in they just banned AI and this person flipped out, saying that because of her ADHD she needed it to manage her whole life and it turned out she had even been making her *tiny* game posts with it too! Then she called it her friend. Terrifying shit. She ragequit
