That’s the thing about low self-esteem, about depression, about it all - All it takes is one “You can’t do this,” one “You don’t have what it takes,” - it wipes out all of the affirmations, all of the heartened support, all exclamations of “I believe in you!” …if I let it.

I once met Travis Willingham at Anime Central 2008. His transport was late, but everyone in his autograph line stayed put until he arrived. Once it was my turn, I immediately (stupidly) asked, “Where have you been?!” Laughing, he replied, “We got stuck in traffic, it’s all good”. He was too kind lol

I feel so discouraged. Not just about my lack of motivation to act, to do theatre, to see theatre, to sing, to read, to write, to audition, to do anything creative. Not just about the current state of the industry, of the world. It sure sums it up, though. I’m just…so tired.

I met Monica Rial a year or so ago - she was the kindest & sweetest person. She made conversation, answered my sister’s & my questions, & shared our enthusiasm for the shows she was a part of. It’s such a shame that people - who apparently time-traveled from 2019 - are slandering her *again*.

I was at a local coffee shop on my break and five minutes after sitting down I heard a big crash - everyone heard it - and I got up and asked if the baristas was okay (they were, thankfully, and they thanked me for even asking) Is it not normal to check on people like that? 🤷🏼‍♀️
