Last night for the first time ever I had to ask someone in front of me at a gig to put their phone down. Honestly taking scores of photos and videoing for several whole songs isn't acceptable people. Johnny Marr was brilliant but would have been even better not viewed through a phone screen.
Last night's gig was Mary in the Junkyard at Rough Trade Liverpool. Brilliant dad and daughter day out, they were excellent, my camera skills weren't and the sunset on Liverpool waterfront would have been worth the journey on its own.
