The City Rail Link offers huge benefits to West Auckland. Commuters from New Lynn to midtown can save at least 16 minutes, with a 40 minute plus bus journey replaced by a 24 minute train trip.

I am looking forward to walking or cycling along the new elevated path from Orākei to Tamaki Drive. This will close a major missing link in Auckland's cycle network. It's a very elegant structure, like a miniature Los Angeles freeway flyover. @bikeauckland.bsky.social @cyclingactionnz.bsky.social

Cycleways currently under construction mean that by mid next year, Auckland will have a continuous separated cycleway from Albany to Botany. This will open up lots of short & medium trips for work, school or errands along the way.
Just 2 minutes from the Mercury Lane entrance of the Karanga-a-hape station.
New and approved: Den Ramen, Auckland
Whau RIver mouth from the bus this morning. The golden haze with the diagonal blue streak of the right of the sky is a reflection artifact from the bus window. #river #publicTransport #Auckland #TamakiMakaurau #bus #somethingBeautiful #aucklandscenes

Auckland sunshine. Doesn’t seem fair but a beautiful day for Matariki. #cycling around the city again.
Great Auckland Saturday market, literally on top of Waitemata station.
Nice day for a market too. (If you’re in the market for a tall building there’s that too!). #citycentrematariki 🌆😎😍🌌
