After they passed me, I checked my blind spot to make sure there were no other cyclists coming. Instead of another cyclist, there was A CAR driving in the BIKE LANE.

a week ago i thrifted a dress that kinda accidentally matched the book that i’m reading and dn’t notice until i was on the bus this morning, reading the last part. i even wore a brown cardigan & shoes. i found this necklace in a box of beads my sister let us use & texted her to ask permission 1/2

i slept really hard last night and dreamed. i had to take a flight with our entire family. packing and transportation was challenging. we didn’t have enough luggage. there were thieves. an elder needed to inexplicably bring dirty floor mats. then i was separated from the group. 1
Remember when David Hogg was running for DNC chair and the establishment stepped in and said we needed a responsible adult and then gave us Ken Martin, who throws his phone at his staffers? Also the DNC is $2 million in debt. But centrists still demand they should be in charge.

the rough estimate that i have spent on dental care as an adult is approximately 30k. this doesn’t include wages lost for times when a non-remote job with better pay wouldn’t be attainable or manageable. we really need better, all encompassing healthcare for people.

it’s a beautiful night. i am pleased with this temperature. i found something i want to mail my aunt today, so i ironed it. outside of a few small chores, it’s thankfully another lazy day.
i watched the new little house on the prairie after this. then “behind the rage” by deeyah khan on youtube, a documentary about the abuse men inflict on their partners. this country, even after 250+ years, has a long way to go.
