While I totally understand why you would buy and own a self-driving car. (You don't want to drive). I have zero understanding of the benefits to the user of getting a driverless taxi beyond novelty. I understand why the people owning the cars want you to, but that's not how business works.

The most impressive thing about the England Football Team is that supporters, who supposedly know a lot about football, forget everything about how football works the second they walk on the pitch.

A potential, if not complete, solution is that your phone sends an anonymous token to the app/site that says "this person is 16/18" using passkeys. But that would be too sensible and joined up so we'll have a million debates about digital ID until my bones turn to dust.

I do a lot of "stuff" - work and life and creative stuff. You know the type of thing. But, and hear me out here, maybe I should just watch a load of baseball. I mean, if I'm just going to run around and get nowhere the Red Sox are available to do that for me. I'll even get a quiet October.
