Save Our Devs isn't just a "Bethesda rally", it's become a "Bethesda and ZeniMax Online and iD and Obsidian and Blizzard rally", not to mention the fans and other workers who will be there supporting us. 6 rallies, 2 countries: will tomorrow be the industry's biggest collective action ever?

Reach out to your friends and colleagues and invite them to the rally TOMORROW, and attend if you’re able! It’s really important that you show up for this for a few reasons:

I want to re-emphasize one part of this Xbox story: Half of the 3,200 cuts are happening today and half are happening in the next 12 months. In other words, even people who survived today's layoffs will have to spend the coming year wondering if they're going to be next.

Microsoft is laying off 4,800 workers today. Its CEO made $96.5M in 2025, a 22% increase from the previous year. Microsoft made $101B in net income last year — and raked in up to $12.5B in tax breaks from Trump's Big Ugly Bill. This is what a rigged system looks like.

Call me crazy, but I don't really like the idea of some hardware manufacturer going "hey your game's character looks dumb, how about it looks like THIS instead (and it's trash)" but maybe that's just me

A year of being self employed, down 💪 Jumping from working for someone else to working for myself was scary. Very grateful I'm able to make a living via my Verified Creations for Bethesda games. Very grateful for all the support. Got exciting things coming!

This supposed 'pro-consumer' narrative actually works against indie & aspiring game dev. As somebody who "worked" as part of the modding team behind one of, if not the, largest Skyrim mods (which actually released) and knows A LOT of modders and game developers: Paid mods are a good thing.
