Connor Lamb didnt win the primary because he was another status quo maintaining centrist. Fetterman wasn't like this until the stroke, and even then its been a slow progression to get to this point.

Never understood the hatred for the DMV. If you do a minimum of research about what you need to have with you its usually a pretty speedy process. Granted my experiences are only in WV and PA, but its always been super efficient.

I do think “every rich person went insane during covid because it was the first time they’ve been inconvenienced in decades” felt a little reductive at first but damn if isn’t more and more compelling as the years drag on

I've never had a close call with a car almost hitting a kid getting off my school bus. I've had several cyclists hit kids, and I've had a few that I almost hit because they were doing dangerous shit that they shouldn't have been.
Robert Knight@rupertairbear.bsky.social · 6d agoOk, so a gripe I have is when I pull up at a bus stop and a cyclist, instead of overtaking the bus on the road, goes up onto the pavement and almost knocks down the passengers getting off the bus. It's like having a floating bus stop, but much worse.
If a democrat wants my vote I need to hear them say that he needs to be replaced as speaker. I was a dedicated democrat voter for ten fucking years, and they've done nothing but spit in my face while they collect a check to fuck me.
