It’s bad. Ukraine is still effectively hitting both inside Russia and occupied Crimea almost daily, but Putin (as usual) is targeting population centers instead of legitimate military targets.

A good example of why soldiers who are not police don't belong on the streets. National guard's members are trained in military combat, disaster recovery, emergency response, and rescue operations. Not in policing. They have no business being on the streets acting in the capacity of law enforcement.
