For a brief moment, there was Congressional and governmental support to ensure that children didn't face deportation alone. Then the Trump administration moved to gut the programs, and tens of thousands of kids who have lawyers now may lose them, while hundreds of thousands more go without counsel.

I continue to be irate that “people can change” is shorthand for “we should make him one of the most powerful people in a US state”. We could maybe discuss either but THESE ARE TWO SEPARATE THINGS!

The Trump administration's lawless slaughter at sea continues. The supposed armed conflict with "narco-terrorists" is make believe, but the illegal killing is very real. The term for premeditated killing outside of armed conflict is murder.

On June 16, at the direction of #SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting along known s in the Eastern Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations. One male narco-terrorists was killed during this action, and there were two male survivors. Following the engagement, USSOUTHCOM immediately notified U.S. Coast Guard to activate the Search and Rescue system for the survivors. No U.S. military forces were harmed. @DeptofWar #OpSouthernSpear
