1/2 The new X-Men cast confused me slightly; Emma and Scott seemed to be of an age but everyone else was about 7. I was concerned & wondering what they were planning on adapting & had to stop myself. They're likely not focussed on comic adaptations (that's what 97 is for) - this is something else.

It's the same attitude that says "the plastic in the ocean is your fault for using straws!" when almost half of it is waste product dumped by the fishing industry. Businesses and politicians cause a mess but the "strategy" to fix it is always proposed at an individual level. And our responsibility.

My point was more that our government have been intentionally making the climate crisis worse to help corporate profits and, now we're at a crisis point, they're trying to pass the responsibility onto us and claim it's individual behaviours like using BBQs that are solely to blame for the wildfires
