Photon collector - Science will win!

Huh? I pick up prescriptions all the time without an ID. I just give the pharmacist my date of birth and they hand me the meds. The only time I get IDed is when I'm buying Sudafed, and that's because they want to know if I'm going to cook meth with it.

Rep. John McGuire on need for the SAVE America Act: "You can't go anywhere, you can't get medicine, you can't go to the Obama museum without a photo ID."

I can’t decide if I should laugh or get upset at the pathetic spectacle of a car dealer putting on a show of shouting and insulting a world-renowned, esteemed scientist with an outstanding career spanning 50+ years.

Last night, we wanted to go to a theater to watch “The Odyssey” but, didn’t seem like a brilliant idea for weeknight. So, stayed home and watched “Princess Bride” for the first time. It was great - don’t know how I missed it for so long. I feel cultured today!

NGC 6914 is a reflection nebula in constellation Cygnus. The contrast of this blue reflection nebula on the background of large emission nebulosity is quite striking. There are several streaks of dark nebulae crisscrossing the whole region adding to the dramatic view. 🔭🧪 app.astrobin.com/i/6u4afa

The Soap Bubble nebula (PN G75.5+1.7) is a planetary nebula near the Crescent nebula (NGC6888) in the constellation Cygnus. The soap bubble is in the bottom left quadrant of the image. This bubble of ionized gas was ejected from a red giant - something that the Sun will eventually do. 🔭🧪

I took this photo of Comet Neowise in the pre-sunrise early morning hours of July 14, 2020. This comet brought much joy during the deadly grip of the COVID-19 pandemic. 🔭🧪

In two thousand and twenty sixth year of our lord, why is it so hard to figure out if someone is dead or not? Not that this person is missing. We know that he is in a hospital. Can someone send a doctor or a nurse there?

Six months-long exposure taken using a pinhole camera containing photographic paper. It tracked the Sun’s movement in the sky from winter to summer solstice. Each curve shows one day and stretches of cloudy days can be seen as dark patches. #solarcan 🔭🧪
