I tend to take pictures of local birds and other local animals. Artist who likes to draw with ashes. You can make things out of the ashes. Every time you wipe your butt you're drawing with your ass. AI cannot draw with its ass. He/him

My favorite wasp is the gentle Bumblebee. Always appreciated the wasp's restraint. When my child was a toddler he grabbed one off a flower. The Bumblebee was trapped in his tiny fist. I convinced him to let the bee go. When he opened his hand the Bumblebee just flew away. Without hard feelings.

Heard a scary buzzing sound and found this female Great Black Wasp feeding on our Gooseneck Loosestrife. This is a big spooky lady. About 1.5 inches! They paralyze Grasshoppers and Crickets. Take them to an underground nest where their wasp children feed on them, alive, for weeks! #bugsky #nature

Mamdani: "Those who led through exclusion & isolation have tried to win power & enrich themselves by turning us against one another ... today, too many of our leaders do not believe in a vision of this nation as an asylum for the persecuted, but rather as one that persecutes those seeking asylum"

This Danville, VA city council candidate made a very dramatic video about sidewalks and public safety, and I love it and him. Worrying about a possible milkshake duck situation, I looked at his FB page, but he seems ok. Juneteenth celebrations, community outreach, Methodists. A solid old gent.

I installed this water vomiting gargoyle with the hope that it would warn wild bun-buns of this dangerous predator that lies in wait. This warning doesn't work. In the spirit of decorum, I shall not show the fruits of this shiba's Dark Harvest. #dogs #nature #backyard

Water vomiting gargoyle fountain with Eastern Cottontail rabbit in our backyard. This Shiba, she lies in wait. Do not be deceived by her submissive prostrate form. It's a trap! She is ready to kill!

Something was causing our dog to lose her cool this morning. Non stop barking. Turns out it was this magnificent Snapping Turtle wearing a wood chip tiara. She was just having a little trouble looking for a place to lay her eggs. Like her ancestors have done for millions of years. #turtles #nature

Spending more time out on the deck means being judged as a bumbling nuisance by this American Golden Finch and this Blue Jay. While I'm on deck, they do not feel they can safely enjoy the variety of seeds I've put out for them. They need me to GO. AWAY....now! #birds #photography #nature

From a 1988 sketchbook. Two illustrations of sneezes, a figurative imagining of the Clubs card suit symbol, and a nutcracker. I did do a big Clubs card suit symbol painting, but I may have given it away. I kind of like that I don't know what happened to it. #art #drawing #sketchbook

About this drawing, "All The Faces The Crow Remembers." There are over 480 faces. The crows are from mostly original photos. The faces were found in the clouds of fine charcoal dust worked into the paper. An exercise in pareidolia. There is only one face of a celebrity. #art #drawing #charcoal
