A while back I got food poisoning from campylobacter, and got to find out firsthand that you can get autoimmune diseases like reactive arthritis that can result in ER trips and months of crutches. Later I learned the hard way that some people (me) can have reoccurring flareups.

It’s been at least 4 days of plumbers at the apartment building, with water off during the day. It’s the little things, like running water and working facilities... I don’t need gold toilets, just one that flushes normally.

People who keep pointing out that golf courses use as much water as data centres as some sort of defence of data centres drastically underestimate the amount we also hate golf.

I really prefer an existence where we have protections for consumers, monitoring of corporations and enforcement of laws, well-regulated food safety, organizations preventing, tracking, & stopping outbreaks, and union-level worker protections, safe conditions, and limited hours.
