Paul Gogurt@paulgogurt.bsky.social · 6mo agoHey Howdy Hey #PortfolioDay! Sharing my non NDA reel as currently doing some freelance 2D animation right now, but am always looking for future workopportunities! Previously At: Monkey Wrench, Horizonauts + MegaMonkey Studios Email paulgoguenart@gmail.com to connect!
Here's my last assignment for my 2D animation course with Animation Mentor. Studying the Preston Blair's animation pointers inspired me to use a Tom and Jerry character for a basic head turn and take, so here's the white cat (apparently named Toodles Galore) lookin cute and getting startled.
Hehehehe it's a shot I animated.

Had a day off from work and decided to finally animate for myself. With that I went and took a sketch I did years ago to make the dumbest thing I've ever made. #animation #2danimation #fart #art #2dart #dog
I'm excited to share that I've been promoted from Revisionist to STORYBOARD ARTIST! I'm so thankful for all the time and mentorship my directors have invested in me. I'm grateful I get to work with such an amazing crew! #SpongeBob #PatrickStarShow
Considering pretty much all my freelance work/animation I'm working right now is under contract or a WIP, most of my free time is doing stuff that isn't drawing related. Regardless felt like cleaning up this Mario doodle I scribbled a few nights ago and actually really liked how it turned out.
