Well, today was irksome. Except for all of the people who were kind about Long Covid or infuriated on behalf of its sufferers in my replies and in their replies to others. That was very heartening. I, and I’m sure many others, are grateful for the support. Very genuinely.
I mean, in October 2023 it was quickly obvious that Britain was going to 100% support the destruction of the Gaza Strip*, and that politicians and press were absolutely unified on stomping the fuck out of anyone who objected to it. Do you see anyone saying “perhaps that went too far”?

And there absolutely is a stifling, absolutist dictatorial mindset in Britain. But it is comical to look at the last 15 years and pick out Covid 19 as your example.
I have no other way of expressing this as someone who has lived with MECFS (Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome) for 17 years, but fuck you Goodall Ableism is bigotry, no less so than racism or homophobia. I have zero tolerance for bigotry. Solidarity with those with Long Covid. Unfollowed.
