I have, with my own eyes, watched my tax dollars in the form of missiles as they hit buildings inhabited by civilians. I'd much prefer subsidizing a grocery story I don't use.

Not gonna lie, I remain delighted that Bluesky management hates that the platform was immediately co-opted by artists and queers.
High functioning = society ignores the disorder and wants you to function "typically", punishing you when you miss the mark. Low functioning = society can't ignore the disorder so you just skip to the punishment phase or are pushed out of sight out of mind.

The gag is, "high functioning" just means easy to ignore. Any of the challenges aren't respected and it's damn near a fight to get people to accept a "high functioning" disorder is a disorder at all.
