shining force iii is so good so far, it feels great to play a shining tactics game again, it feels so great to play an RPG with certified Good Menus, the battle animations are framed wonderfully and load immediately, I feel spoiled playing this tbh

it probably wouldn't hurt if i had more granular difficulty options in future games. i want to keep making hard games but it makes me upset when my friends can't beat them. i want to make games that motivate everyone to discover more arcade stuff - not just skillchecks for existing arcade fans.
i rearranged my room and took the hutch off the desk my aunt gave me when i moved out, ordered a lumbar support pillow, i'm ready to start cooking on this next project, i'm ready to lock in like i've never locked in before
replayed disaster arms on impact, i don't think i went hard enough on the difficulty, at least for impact mode. advance being tamer than the average run and gun was fine in my book, but impact is a free ride except for 5-3 and 8-3, which are oddly harder than everything else, at least to me
also i hope everyone appreciates the boss i animated to look like golden ogre from darius gaiden that was a total pain

was given the honor of trying this game out early and its pretty cool! i wanted to see if i could drop a day 1 review on bl but this games got hands, ive not been able to finish it just yet. Very old-school levels of hard!

I dont think ive had this much fun with a game that restricts you to one action at a time like this one. Visuals are so unique and absolute eye candy And the SOUNDTRACK? GEEZ!!! Worth every penny
