Public health experts recommend public education teaching students about the use of condoms in age-appropriate grades. A third of Ontario’s public schools (those run by public Catholic school boards) teach students that using condoms is a hell-bound mortal sin. How are we in Ontario OK with this?

I’m getting started in what is going to be a great day and great weekend at the Animal Rights & Advocacy Conference in Toronto where there will be so much learning and inspiration available. I am on a panel on Sunday morning discussing family law and companion animals in Canada.

Jesus: “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Public Catholic Education Leaders in Ontario like Cardinal Leo & OECTA: “It’s our right as Catholics in Ontario to have public & fully publicly-funded separate school boards. Too bad for all other religions in Ontario.” Jesus: 😢

This is a real photo in September 2026 of Cardinal Frank Leo (Archbishop of Toronto), the most influential individual in public Catholic education in Ontario (and therefore a public figure in Ontario public education policy), and Paolo De Buono.

I interviewed Angela Saggese this morning at her campaign event. She is a York Catholic District School Board (who actively in 2023 argued & voted against that Catholic board flying the Pride flag) & is running now for Ward 1 Councillor for the City of Vaughan. Notice her non-committed 🏳️‍🌈-🏳️‍⚧️ response.

This image shows the text of the interview.

“There is no question in my mind that provincial supervision imposed on the TDSB was purely political,” Laskin writes. “Healthy democracies do not respond to challenges by weakening representation. #OnEdu 1/2 thecjn.ca/news/two-jew...

A Léger poll released this weekend shows that 41% of Canadians now consider the United States an enemy country. 22% consider the US an ally. 22% consider the US a neutral country. Sadly, I am currently among the 41%. leger360.com/in-the-news-...

The “but it’s legal” argument was used by segregated white school districts in the Deep South into the 1950s to not allow Black students into white schools. In Ontario, in 2026, public Catholic school boards across Ontario are not allowing non-Catholic students into public Catholic schools. 😢

Animal Justice has filed to take the Ontario government to the Supreme Court of Canada over its ag gag law. Despite freedom of expression guaranteed in our Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the Ford government has decided to protect the meat industry by preventing farm treatment info going public.

We've filed to take Ontario’s ag gag law to Canada’s highest court! We're hoping to argue in front of the Supreme Court of Canada that this law violates freedom of expression & shields animal cruelty. Stay tuned to find out if our appeal is granted! 🐷⚖️

This was my message today to a teacher-friend in an Ontario Catholic school board. It’s really sad that Catholic school boards do not promote as principal or superintendent gay persons who are openly gay in a gay marriage. Yes, it is legal in Ontario for Catholic boards to discriminate this way. 😢

In 1952, in the Deep South, white Americans argued that it’s legal to have segregated schools based on skin colour. It was. In 2026, in Ontario, public Catholic ed leaders argue that it’s legal to have public Catholic schools teach anti-queer beliefs. It is. “It’s legal” is not a moral argument.

Staples (🇺🇸) is now open for some ON teachers. How do prices stack up against the TDSB supply centre for classroom basics? TDSB: $290.38 Staples: $668.98 Staples Teachers: $584.56 But Paul Calandra took over the TDSB claiming financial mismanagement and Doug Ford wants you to #BuyCanadian. #OntEd

The Ontario govt took $60M out of public education and handed it to Staples. Tomorrow, 80K elementary teachers each get $750 of the misappropriated money to buy overpriced classroom supplies at an 🇺🇸 corporation. Please remember this the next time Captain Canada tells you to #BuyCanadian. #OntEd

Donald Trump is a bully. Yet Doug Ford telling Trump that Trump can kiss his ass (etc.) was so unnecessary. He should have take the more dignified response approach of Carney. And now Ontario is facing a specific negative focus by Trump which will hurt our workers and economy, because of Ford.

Presser with Captain Canada Reporter: Tell us your thoughts on the U. S. trade conflict. #DougFord: Trump can kiss my big ol’ butt. What a loser. Buy Canadian, folks! Reporters: Didn’t you just give Staples - a U.S. company - a $60M contract by forcing teachers to buy school supplies there? DF:

A confused Doug Ford shrugs.
