Not everyone is upset about the death of Dolly Parton. Jolene's been playing the long game, and now her day is finally here.
Without cheating, post your lock screen. Yes, I'm tragic, but you can't say I'm not consistent.

Have you heard the good news about our lord and saviour Blood on the Clocktower?
Apparently only woke snowflakes avoid looking at the sun during an eclipse. Show those lefties exactly how much you hate them by looking at it through a telescope.
Nice try but 19C is a temperature most of us have forgotten even exists.
You seen those new smart bins? They've got the temperature and everything
I'd make him prime minister for life if he did this.
(a true headline might be "guy on podcast makes joke about how many comments there were from Harry Potter fans in a consultation process, relating to cable project which was obviously never going to go straight through area of natural beauty in national park"
For some reason people lose all critical judgment when interpreting jokes made by infrastructure people at conferences or on a podcast. This just isn't what happened.
Hot take: You shouldn't have to know someone's history to know whether or not you should wish them well after they've made an attempt on their own life.

I know I'm about ten years late to the party on this, but I've been watching Homeland, and... Carrie Mathison is the actual worst.
I hope Sadie Sink has been paid way more than usual for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour. Marvel doesn't want anyone discussing who she's playing, but they've sent her out to help a thousand interviewers fill seven minutes with nothing anyway.
Who had "Casualty/Threads crossover" on their 2026 bingo card?
The year is 1990. Doctor Who remains off the air, its future uncertain. Sylvester McCoy is the closest thing we have to a current Doctor. The year is 2026. Doctor Who remains off the air, its future uncertain. Sylvester McCoy is the closest thing we have to a current Doctor.
Hopefully Nandy's just picking up her P45.
Rayner and Nandy in No 10.
Editor of Vogue, 1977: You get those photos of C-3PO & Darth Vader? Photographer: Sure did boss, real fuckin sexy like you asked. Editor of Vogue, 1977: what
There’s a noticeable difference in emotional reactions for Sam Neill’s passing compared to other recent deaths. It’s really amazing the difference you can make to people’s lives by not being a thundering arsehole.
He was also in Sirens, a film I stayed up late to watch one time as a teenager. It was quite dull, which is strange considering how much of the screen time was given over to Elle Macpherson's breasts.
Wilderness Years 1 vs Wilderness Years 2. We didn't know when we were well off. (Yes, I know there are flaws with everything about this post. No, I don't care.)
This simply won't happen (as much as I want it to). Frogface got over 21,000 votes at the last GE. Even if, optimistically, only half vote for him this time, that's still 11,000 who need to vote for a joke candidate. Labour, Lib Dem and the Greens barely totalled that in 2024.
“That was a Pity Political Broadcast on behalf of some whiny bitch.”
Huge congrats to @digitalspy.com on their latest "Doctor Who exclusive"! THERE'S NOT EVEN A PRODUCTION TEAM RIGHT NOW YOU CLICKBAIT WOMBLES
Is Chief Scientific Adviser to Head of the Black Archive really a promotion? Because it kinda feels like bullshit to me. #DoctorWho #CircuitBreaker
Andy Burnham has the air of someone who's been brought in from outside to guest host today's assembly.
