Feels like ninty are overdue to add another NES or SNES game nobody's ever heard of and sounds made up to their Nintendo Classics thing. Please add Mingie's Gingie soon.

DreamWorks Animation’s remote workers have overwhelmingly ratified their first union contract with The Animation Guild. 97% voted in favor of the agreement, securing equal wage standards, healthcare, pension benefits and workplace protections as on-campus workers.
Nice to see a massive reduction in the use of harmful pesticides on crops!!!! It's great!!! I really love all the living and dead flies between every layer of every iceberg lettuce I've tried to eat!!! For the past month!!!!!!!! I love the weird blobs of black inky slime they've been leaving!!!!!
“Lost media” no longer! I finally got permission to upload “AL’S BRAIN,” an 11-minute educational 3-D film attraction which ran at the Orange County and Western Washington fairs, and hasn’t been seen publicly since 2009. You can watch the whole thing here: youtu.be/2xujU87ZHt4
Tom Baker looking increasingly deranged as Professor Plum on Cluedo
Does anyone have access to that clip of Tom Baker on Cluedo looking increasingly more deranged with every passing week? @pipmadeley.bsky.social, was it one of your magnificent creations?
Bluesky is like a rehab clinic for people whose time on twitter poisoned our brains so our automatic reflex when we see something upsetting is to repost & inflict it on as many ppl as possible but we're surrounded by guys who don't even want to come off the stuff. Still doing it. Passing it round.
every single nintendo direct is written like its advertising the first video game ever made. in this “game of strategy” you can choose to attack with swords [8 second clip of a guy attacking with a sword] or with spells [8 second clip of a guy attacking with a spell]
Good morning. As a (comparatively) successful author I feel it’s time to branch out in my career. As a result, I’m excited to be stepping into the world of professional football. Since I’m physically incapable of playing football at a professional level I will be hiring what I call a “ghostballer”
This would've been just before Sky Movies, Sky Movies and Sky Movies became Sky Movies Sky Games and Sky Videos
#OnThisDay 1993 : Sky Multichannels launched in the UK giving viewers the first opporunity to buy one of 3 packages from Sky depending on what channels they wanted. #90s
I would 100% support a law that says if any digital platform removes your access to media you paid for then they are required to refund you the entirety of the original purchase price. That would solve this whole thing in a hurry.
Sony has responded to a digital games lawsuit by arguing that players don't actually own the games they buy Its lawyers say they are licensed rather than sold
Ski Sunday is gone so everyone has to watch nirvana the band now
Watch this trailer, this will be dead good
A story of Friendship, Creativity, Fandom and Persistence. Fanning the Flame is a documentary film by myself and @markdonaldson.bsky.social and it tells the tale of Doctor Who’s most legendary fan film! In production and out in hopefully less than 35 years.
RIP Ski Sunday. In tribute, Dave Bulmer will now sing the theme song:
I'm up a hill but there's some obligations I'm supposed to meet And so I've got some lengthy bendy strips and strapped em to me feet There's quite a long descent before me and just minutes left to go And in the absence of a better plan I'm leaning in and sliding down the snow
I remember being in a car driving through some small town in the Midlands, and because the UK isn't a place that flies flags usually, they'd put flags up everywhere specially +in order to then put them at half-mast+, and so instead of being solemn, it looked like celebratory bunting had been put up.
Happy 29th anniversary to my neighbour at the time making a little 2ft high flagpole out of a stick and a union jack flag himself so he could set said miniature flag to half mast and stand sombrely next to it in his front garden
Nobody's made a Mighty Max toy for thirty years, which does explain some of the state of the place doesn't it, what are we doing

I wrote the story and script for a new Decap Attack comic strip in the Sonic Fanfest comic this year! Without wanting to toot my own horn, I think it's pretty funny! Art by @aedouble.bsky.social, letters by Craig Dunsford (sorry, I don't know/can't find your Bsky if you have one!)
having a riveting conversation with my inner monologue like "isn't it fascinating that this screenshot from a game you've made your pc background reads as a flat image to you now, but was actually a traversable space!" "No! Who talks like this????"
This is in the present day ofc (1997). Hooktanic 2 is Jack's hilarious adventures getting used to late 90s life. Maggie Smith plays wryly sardonic Rose/Wendy. Lots of "Cowabunga!" "Gnarly!" and montages to Barbie Girl by Aqua
Need Treguard from Knightmare to follow me around and mediate all of my life choices.
it just.... this CAN'T be true I bet you anything it is but it can't The entire character of that film for me is that it is new, and that I am getting round to watching it soon (I have watched it, and all of its sequels, some of them multiple times. I cannot remember a single thing about them)
Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone was released on this day nineteen years ago and will be the focus of today's posts.
That Hook tweet is interesting. I have had times where I watched Hook as an adult and thought it wasn't very good, but there wasn't a cell in my body that thought so when I saw it at the cinema.
One of our local politicians has a big sign in the window of their office that has their name, their photo, a phone number, and the words "please get in touch", which is good of them to do but does make it look like they've run away from home and their parents are worried sick
