What does this even mean? "DEI" has lost all meaning. Kind of like "Communism." The right sure have their talking points and boogeymen. The question is, how many Americans hear these phrases and have the Pavlovian response MAGA is looking for? And does that response outweigh, oh, the price of gas?

I wrote a letter to the editor to whoever is around for the tricentennial. Free to read. "And if I'm being honest, which I will be, brutally, I had a lot more hope growing up in the 1970s and '80s than I do now in 2026." Biblical phrasing purposeful. I always hope to nudge believers awake.
