I’m popping in to say Prince Andrew wasn’t arrested for child rape, but for handing out Gov’t secrets. I’m not saying his arrest isn’t a win, I am saying children being raped isn’t vile enough in a patriarchy to warrant arrest.
When I hear people talk about GOP as if it was some different entity than today, I’m like, “what GOP were *you* seeing? Because they’ve always been misogynist/racist/classist” The difference now isn’t the GOP, it’s we have little to no interest in dealing w/ people w/ a disregard for human life.

You know who was great? Claudia Cardinale. Terrific actress, fine human being, never became a fascist. Also extraordinarily beautiful. She was a feminist and a UNESCO goodwill ambassador. She died earlier this year. Just remembering her today for no particular reason.

This kitty came into our lives after a local cat rescue, which was overflowing with cats and kittens, refused us an adoption. My husband got on the internet and found a friend was fostering this moony eyed sweetheart. The cat distribution system never fails.

When dir/pro Karole Forman first came to me with this show, little did she know I’m a freak for vintage holiday craft books! Wanting to evoke past holidays, I used all manner of vintage materials: felt, sequins, both chunky & eyelash glitter, buttons, patchwork, old lace tablecloth, google eyes…

I had Ray Bradbury’s Twice 22 out of the library for so long (routinely checking it in just to check it back out), that the librarian finally suggested I ask my mom to buy me a copy. It was just so much magic.
