Voices on airport PA systems used to be more authoritative. I don’t want to hear “Thi- calling um… Mart J-Jason? Um. Jasón? Mark… Jason??” echoing through a terminal. Be more confident, airport workers. You are gatekeepers to the skies!

Writer (Strip Law, Pringus & Bench), crane operator (disgraced). Used to be merman_melville, now I’m something worse.
I’m sad but proud that I got to write on the last ever episode of Strip Law. Enjoy some of the jokes I loved and savor the fruits of the Strip Law team’s stupid, beautiful labor. bsky.app/profile/perf...
Here's a few of my favorite Strip Law jokes:
Feeling such a strong urge to hand sew myself a historically accurate court jester motley suit
moby-dick, his eyes enormous: from hell's heart you STAB at moby? for hate's sake you spit your last BREATH at moby? oh! oh! the great shroud of the sea for ahab! the great shroud of the sea rolling on as it rolled five thousand years ago!!!!
Sometimes getting older feels like wading out into an ocean and I think I’ve dropped off the coastal shelf between “staying up late is fun/I don’t wanna go to bed” and “bedtime is drugs now”
Stockholders aren’t real. They’re just made up little guys. They don’t actually do anything.
I'm listening to a lot of self help books and one of them's about discovering your internal personalities, like the inner critic, the inner child or whatever. I haven't done the exercises because I know I've got some weird little guys in here. I don't want to meet all these fuckin Gollums
Calling slide shows "decks" is a survival mechanism. People only do it when they are under extreme stress.
I know I shouldn't get mad at the no interiority guy. There's other things I gotta be doing. I can't get derailed by the zero self-reflection guy. I can't imagine slapping his bald head and it makes a sound like a bongo
I saw the guy who says he doesn't self-reflect because nobody did that 400 years ago. I'll say it again: being that rich, brain-wise, is the same as getting kicked in the head by a horse.
I’ve decided to buy one of those cars that cruella de ville drives. Catch me driving the kind of car that has a front hood that looks like a wedge of cheese. I’m gonna die in a fender bender because the body of my car is made of fuckin cast iron skillet
I think I’d a lady in gigantic shoes to smash my brain into individual molecules
My medical provider answers every question like “Thanks for asking! Yes, that is covered. Unfortunately, this means that it is not covered. Hope this clarifies!”
Read through my tweets from the first trump presidency and it was like watching a horror movie a second time. I already know all the jump scares but now I can spot the foreshadowing. also there's a damn clown in it!!
Not enough people online are talking about Glem Blorchman and whether or not he’s immortal
Man, I just started binging STRIP LAW on Netflix. So fun, hilarious, smart, weird, occasionally disgusting. Therefore perfect. Bravo @hellocullen.bsky.social, top notch work!
Me: I punish myself internally way more than a lot of people who definitely should be doing that even harder and more debilitatingly than me Brain: Punish yourself more to pick up the slack, and insodoing redeem yourself Me: And then I can stop the punishments? Brain: Ha. As a matter of fact, no.
That post yesterday that was like “Kamala Harris never signed up to be responsible for voters” is still ricocheting around the inside of my skull. Maybe humans were never meant to communicate with each other at this scale
I invite you to experience my best work, ever: this guy I made up using google translate x.com/alessandroda...

Writing a new pilot so I can use my mind to torture some guys I made up
The attack was so successful it killed even more people than we intended to kill, which is good
I’ve been name searching strip law every half hour on here for a week and it’s making me even more crazy
Just found this art I did for an old pitch that’s too weird to go anywhere and I kind of love it
1. Numerous transgender people in Kansas are reporting that the state has sent them a letter demanding the immediate surrender of drivers licenses. Those driving could be arrested, charged, and see privileges revoked. Subscribe to support our journalism. www.erininthemorning.com/p/kansas-sen...
What’s your grossest historical nonfiction book/podcast rec I desperately need something gnarly
I miss all my good tweets. I think I had one where I called the amount of piss on the floor of a bathroom the “wow factor”
Caffeine hits you in the dick with a sledgehammer if you haven’t had it in a long time. I had one cup of coffee and I feel like my heart is trying to Kill Bill one inch punch its way out. This is one of two things I understand the Mormon church’s stance on (#2 is that angels are Italian)
As coworkers, everyone on strip law was the kind of person who makes you a little sad you’ve reached your destination when you carpool. As writers/actors/artists, I was jealous of and intimidated by them. But now? They’re my friends :)
now that the show has been out for a few days I'm gonna tell y'all about my writing staff and how great they are you're gonna sit there and like it.
