I'm feeling very anxious today and I'm not sure why. I woke up 90 minutes early, and every incoming email and teams message just seems to fill me with dread.

I arrived at the Via Rail station only to discover it boarded up. There was no notice that the station was "temporarily closed" when I bought my ticket online. Sure hope the train stops...

Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away. They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.

I just think in the upcoming municipal election I am not going to vote for anyone who is a member of one of the new municipal political parties. I want someone to represent me and my area, not be beholden to a group with other priorities.

Every so often I hear some crazy statistic and I try to find the source. Which often leads to another source. And so on. At some point it will be obvious that someone misinterpreted the original fact. And those incorrect facts are found by people who "do their own research"

I've lived in the same neighbourhood for 20+ years. Originally only Safeway was close. Then a while later Calgary Co-op opened much closer, so that was my store. They closed so I to the Superstore. But they got greedy so I went to a different Co-op. Now I rotate. BTW - Safeway has the best bread.

At some point the Sabres are going to need to keep some of their young players that other teams want. How much longer will they be the pantry of the league that other teams look at when they need something? Yeah, those players are valuable. That's why the Sabres need them, too.
