#Nepal’s Prime Minister Balendra Shah said the Nepali Army has rescued 279 people from hydropower projects affected by the floods so far, as search teams continue to work through vast quantities of rock and debris. Officials have said 993 workers are thought to be trapped at 11 hydropower projects.

As a volunteer management researcher and consultant, I can tell you with authority: no, Jared Kushner is not a volunteer. The financial windfall he is getting through is "volunteering" makes it not so. Plus, the only cause he's helping is himself.

Jared Kushner is claiming to be a "volunteer" in his work as an envoy. But I don't think someone qualifies as a "volunteer" in a job where they are trying to shake down everyone they deal with for monetary compensation.
