Jacob Geller@jacobgeller.com · 2d agoWolverine embargo is up and I think it is...not good at all! The game attempts very little and succeeds at even less. Relentlessly uninteresting combat, largely shallow characters, stale level design. A fascinating example of AAA polish on a hollow shell of an idea.
There’s such an easy answer to this “gotcha” question and it’s “Sports are inherently unsafe and unfair and it’s ridiculous to single out trans athletes when we allow 150 pound linebackers to go up against 260 pound linemen in freshman football on a daily basis. Let kids play with their friends.”

I'm finally getting to play through the game Replaced. It is a super cool story, great art design and music, but boy if it isn't wrapped in the most frustrating gameplay. The timing of everything feels just a fraction too slow, pathfinding is nearly impossible in some spots, and it gets repetitive.
