One week until SCGCON Vegas! I'll be there with sketches, prints, playmats, APs, and a box full of signing pens. The big news is that I'm only attending Friday and Saturday.

Somehow it's only ten days until SCGCON Cincinnati! I'll be there all three days, signing cards, selling APs, prints and playmats. Sketch slots are limited to 3 per day and 1 per customer, and sketches are ready the next morning.
The auction has begun for Spry and Mighty, my final piece for Lorywn Eclipsed. It runs until 11pm East / 8pm Pacific on Tuesday March 17th. I love images with a strong narrative and here's a kithkin and a treefolk who work together (to fight crime?) and wade into a fight with enthusiastic roars!

The auction for Thorna and Twigtooth is running on the MTG Art Market until 11:30pm Eastern / 8:30pm Pacific on March 10th. The art was part of the Alchemy release for Lorwyn Eclipsed. It's my only dip into Shadowmoor in Lorwyn Eclipsed.
It's time for my next auction on the MTG Art Market: Great Forest Druid. The art description called for a grumpy rowan treefolk standing guard at the outskirts of a forest. The treefolk has the form of a stump and his face sits in the base of the stump.
I have been remiss and failed to mention that my original art for Flamebraider is being auctioned in the MtG Art Market on Facebook. The auction ends tonight at 11pm Eastern/ 8pm Pacific.
Ah, my final Lorwyn card - and my second favorite piece I did for the set - has just been officially revealed. And yes, I wish this was a physical card too.

And by some crazy trick of chronological time, SCG CON Portland is only a week away! There's going to be over 30 Magic artists in attendance which may be a record for a Portland show. BTW, my other confirmed 2026 events so far are: SCG CON Cincinnati (May 15-17) SCG CON Las Vegas (June 26-28)
Here's 3 of my cards that have been released in Lorwyn Eclipsed. It's good to finally see these in print as they were painted in the latter half of 2024. They're all acrylic paintings on gessobord.
Before shipping the Antiquities paintings to WotC, I made color photocopies in case something happened to them in transit. A friend showed up at my studio later that afternoon, glanced at Rocket Launcher and said “Why’d you paint a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?” I’ve never been able to unsee it.

It’s about ten days until the Aetherdrift previews start. I know the MtG sets with offbeat themes haven’t been immensely popular in the last year but I’m here to tell you I had a lot of fun with Aetherdift. So look for new art posts later this month.

Hey, I hadn't seen this show up anywhere, but my Treasure Nabber from Commander Masters 2023 is also available as an art card. Apparently we don't get APs of these which is a shame, but oh well. I'm told the yellow signature is a gold stamp on the real card.
